Cancellation Policy

In the event you do not give at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled appointment, you will be charged (via emailed invoice) 50% of your scheduled service. Your invoice will be sent the day of the scheduled service. In order to be rescheduled, your invoice must be paid. This also applies to not proceeding with the service requested at the time of booking. For example, scheduling a cut and color, then requesting only a cut on the day of your appointment. Please keep in mind that last minute cancellations and changes do not allow enough time for me to fill the new openings in my schedule. Confirmation emails and text reminders are sent out 72 hours in advance and allow all clients time to make sure there is not a scheduling conflict. *Please note that illnesses or family emergencies are acceptable reasons to cancel within the 24-hour window without being charged, but will be tracked to ensure it is not taken advantage of.

Confirmation Text or Email

As a client of The Carmel Blonde, you get the benefit of an email or text reminder for your appointments. Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment times and dates. Reminder texts or emails sometimes fail and of course glitches happen. This means it is vital that you keep track of your appointments and to not solely rely on text or email reminders.

Tardiness

Being late happens. In the event you are running late, please text or call. If you arrive beyond 15 minutes late, your appointment may be forfeited and subject to the cancellation policy. Also, if an earlier service is running later than 10 minutes you will receive a text or call, to allow you more time to run an errand or get a coffee.

No Call/ No Show

If no contact is made to The Carmel Blonde to reschedule or cancel your appointment and you do not show up to your scheduled service it will be considered a No Call/ No Show. On the date of your service, you will be invoiced the full amount (100%) of your scheduled service appointment. You will be contacted before or at the 15-minute mark. Once you are 30 minutes late and no contact has been made it will officially be considered a No Call/No Show and charges will apply.

Refunds & Redo’s

The Carmel Blonde does not offer Refunds on any services provided. All products are final sale. Redo’s will only be scheduled/discussed if client notifies The Carmel Blonde within 72 hours of the original service. If hair is altered by another salon and/or anyone else, the redo policy is void. You will have to pay for your full future appointment cost.
